Media Release: TBDSSAB Offices Temporarily Closed Due to Inclement Weather

April 6, 2022 – Due to inclement weather, The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) will be temporarily closing office facilities in Thunder Bay and Kakabeka. TBDSSAB offices in communities east of Thunder Bay will remain open.

Effective April 6, 2022 at 2pm, the following TBDSSAB services will be impacted by the temporary closure:

  • Offices Closed:  Thunder Bay and Kakabeka
    • All services and scheduled appointments are cancelled at these locations. Anyone with appointments missed due to the closure or weather are asked to contact their worker on Thursday April 7, 2022 to reschedule.
    • All Maintenance appointments scheduled at TBDSSAB housing properties in these communities will be rescheduled. In the case of a maintenance emergency at any TBDSSAB housing properties, tenants are encouraged to call the Maintenance Dispatch line at: 807-766-4777 / 1-877-281-2958
  • Offices Open:  Geraldton, Longlac, Manitouwadge, Marathon, Nipigon, Schreiber
