TBDSSAB Celebrates Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Educators in the District of Thunder Bay.
October 24, 2019 – Thursday October 24 is Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day. The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) is hosting a celebration to honour Child Care Workers and Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) at the Thunder Bay office.
“The dedication that child care workers and early childhood educators show every day in their interactions with the children in our district is treasured,” said Lucy Kloosterhuis, Chair, TBDSSAB. “Research studies show that early childhood education improves the cognitive and emotional development and self-regulation for children. ECEs and child care workers are vital to helping children grow, learn, and explore the world around them. On behalf of the TBDSSAB Board, I would like to thank them for providing quality child care.”
TBDSSAB would like to thank all the Champions for Children across the District of Thunder Bay for their commitment to serving families and fostering a sense of wellbeing and belonging in our children, and for giving them the tools to be engaged and express themselves.
