PSA: TBDSSAB January Cheque Pick-Up Schedule
December 13, 2024 – Due to the ongoing postal strike, all monthly cheques issued by TBDSSAB for January will be available for pick-up on December 30 and 31, 2024. This includes Ontario Works, landlords, and vendors. Payment arranged through electronic means will remain unaffected.
Cheques can be picked up at 231 May Street South on the following dates and times. Questions can be directed to 807-766-2111.
- Monday December 30, 9am – 3:30pm
- Tuesday December 31, 9am – 12pm
- Note: Daily cheques for Thunder Bay are available for pickup everyday.

Update: Canada Post workers resumed mail delivery services on December 17, 2024. Due to expected delays related to the backlog of mail as well as the holiday mail rush, TBDSSAB is continuing with the plans to have January cheques available for pickup only.
Cheques can be picked up on December 30 (9am to 3:30pm) and December 31 (9am to 12pm).
TBDSSAB will resume regular operations via mail–including mailing cheques– in January 2025.
